A lifelong Oklahoman, Bransford H. Shoemake was born in Tulsa in 1956 and admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in 1982. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court; U. S. Court of appeals, Tenth Circuit; U.S. District Court, Northern District of Oklahoma; Oklahoma District Courts in every county in the state; Osage Nation District Court; Kaw Nation District Court; and Pawnee Nation District Court.
He earned his BA and JD at the University of Oklahoma, while also studying at Oxford University. While in school, he was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity and completed an internship with the Cleveland County District Attorney’s office. Bransford is a member of the Osage County Bar Association (and held its presidency from 1982-84), Oklahoma Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Oklahoma Trial Lawyer’s Association.
